Moving from High-school to College/ University is a big transition for every teenagers. Yet, epspecially an introvert who's ready to get out his/her comfort zone again to socialize in this big transition. I have been through there and figured out some tips that I hope you'll find it helpful and be less stressed out when you starting to study in a new environment.

1. Should not choose an early lecture
- Yes, you'll probably think that you would be doing fine as you have done in High-school. However, in college, you have more autonomy and yet no one would punish you for being late or skipping the class. Along the semester, you will find frustrated waking up early and decide to skip classes since there is no charge for that :). That is to say, early lecture may be not a good idea because you will not know what your are gonna deal with.
2. Should not choose 3 hours lecture
- I recommend that you should not choose 3 hours lecture in First year since you still have no ideas what the lecture or the professors gonna be like. If you're lucky to have an interesting professor, or it is a course you like, that should be fine. When if it's not, the 3hrs lecture will get "extremely boring". Yet, students always being excited at first but as the time flows, your energy also "flows" away, you may be distracted by the more interesting in your pocket - yes, cellphone.
- So 3hrs lecture could be a good choice to save your time from school to do other things, but if it is not necessary, splitting the 3hrs courses into smaller could be better. It may also depends on the courses you choose the offer the splitting-hour lecture
3. Do not skip lectures
- Believe me or not, you will have to spend more "hours" on studying by yourself than attending a "fine-to-skip" lecture. Instead, you can just sit and listen to the lecture may help you understand the lessons easier and saving the time that you need to study alone (even if it's too boring). Additionally, you also paid for these lectures, so it should not waste for both of your time and your money.

4. Do study right after the lesson
- Some professors told students to study at least 3 hrs for each subject, I do not think it is necessary because as long as you understand the ideas and concepts of the lessons, you are going to be okay. But I do beleive you should study after a lesson because it will make your life easier when it comes to the exams. Do not wait until the last minute to your exams to study, otherwise, you may find yourself stuck in the big amount of knowledge and don't know where to start.
5. Do the time-management
- For those who have done this, great for you. And for those who have not, you should start right now by this simple tip: writing important events such as your due date assignment, midterm, final exams etc. on your sticker notes, laptop or whatever it is for you to see and remember. You could also do a daily to-do-list if possible. Since you have started college, there are much more events and important information which no one can remind you unless you do so, this also saves your time and avoids overwhelming on figuring out what you need to do. You don't have to stick with is exactly but writting out can make you more conscious of what you are and will be doing.
6. Do join the subjects' groups information
- This may be a little bit odd, or you may find it disturbing if you don't like to joing a group chat that keeps popin on your phone's notifications. However, these "talkative" classmates will bring you quite a lot of benefits since they will share their notes ot the information in class that you may not know. Not only that, you may make more friends and can study together for the improvement in the courses. These little things seem does not matter but really useful when you comes near the exams, and yet you may fine your classmates are pretty helpful somehow? :).
- For example: asking about the group's chat of your course on the school's page on facebook, instagram or any social medias, if it does not have your course, how about you starting a new one? :). Yet, you may find it helpful and more motivated on your studying.

These are the tips that I have figured it out after being a Freshman since I also have failed some of this (such as do not skip class LOL). However, these tips will help you less overwhelming and stressful on your process of first - year. Also, tell me how you think about these tips and how you have applied it, or if you have any other tips to share? Comment belows or contact to me. Thank You :)
